I am at the point where every time I open excel, it brings up the MS Office Professional Plus and takes a few minutes to configure itself and Ive noticed that all of the office file extensions are now assocated with Unknown App. I have now been working for 4 days to get office 2010 working. Microsoft doesn’t support installing two versions of Office on one computer and it was never a good idea even when it was supported in years past. I uninstalled Office Ultimate 2007 and installed Office Professional Plus 2010. Virtual machines are also the best way to run multiple versions of Office on the one computer.
